And you know what's cool, Tom? Check out all the things our government provides for us at the federal, state, and local levels. Then do some research and balance our tax rates against, say, the Dutch. Even Australia has pretty high taxes compared with the US (I think...). If you were to commit some offense that made us consider banning you, I or one of the other moderators would inform you, allow you to correct the behavior (assuming the behavior was not severe enough to warrant immediate action), and then take appropriate measures from there.

For starters, I've never mentioned 'aggressive patriotism in America'.
That is your own choice of words.
As for what Britain is or isn't entitled to, that's hardly my place to say.
We might as well talk about the people who are truly indigenous to the US and I strongly doubt there was ever an Apache war chief called Brewer.
