That is funny. Especially because many of the execs in that industry barely graduated high school, let alone went to college. Jay Z was selling drugs in the projects, while Puffy was a back up dancer in music videos. They didn't attend any MBA programs, but each one has enough money to buy an NBA team.

If the way they wrote was an indication of their know-how, then they'd be broke. That isn't the case, now is it?

True and excellent point. I imagine there are many more folks who wanted to be execs but couldn't make it and could certainly benefit by falling back on a college education.

Anyway, anyone who wants to listen to hip hop without the profanity can just set up a free account at pandora.com, create "stations" based on your favorite artists and songs, and check off the "no profanity" link. This is for personal use and not over a loudspeaker at your gym, but it's awesome. I don't think they screen for misogyny and violence, however.
