Cellphone got stolen!

It only took one day to cancel the phone number. I was pissed.

My phone was cancelled right away, but the replacement phone I ordered with "free overnight delivery" on Friday has yet to be delivered. Grrr.

About 5 years ago someone broke into my car while I was at Church and stole my cell phone. The Church is in a rough area of town and I believe they were looking for a pistol. Anyway, the alarm went off and some church members alerted me to the theft. I went home and called my cell number and some young punk answers the phone. I said, Dude you better not run my phone bill up. He starts taking shit and I tell him I'm old enough to be your dad. I tell him, I don;t like the way he broke into my car and he laughs and talks more shit. I cuss him out, hang up the phone and call up the cell company to report it stolen. It was funny, I just wanted to vent and threaten the young punk against any long distance calls. It worked, when I got my next phone bill it was all local. It only took one day to cancel the phone number. I was pissed.

The guy who stole mine turned it off and probably threw the sim card away, if he didn't I would have gotten my cell back in an hour from when it was stolen. But it took one minute to cancel my number and another minute to get it back on another sim card.

What i don't get is why they don't just call it a Pocket PC which is basically what it is. I guess people prefer having a "suped up" phone than a Pocket PC. Bloody cunning bastards!

I was told by someone I trust to never get one unless I have to for work. Then he asked me to please give him the phone number for my friend who he's really interested in. Went on and on about how his Blackberry ate it and he had to reload numbers and it was a nightmare.
