The missus and I are headed down to Austin about noonish Friday to spend some quality time with some friends who have a new baby on the way. What do the rest of the fine defend-dot-net folk have going on?

My wife's going with me and when I'm not at the MA event we'll bop around Chicago some - visit friends and what not.

Might try to catch the upcoming fight at Hooters or a good location.

However, in a perfect world it would be a cute, leggy redhead and a few bottles of rum...

Here in Austin living it up. We watched the fights last night, had a blast, now my friend is off at work and our wives are out looking at baby stuff, so I think I'll go for a run. Having some friends over for dinner tonight, my wife's going to make her famous grilled Korean ribs. Life is good!

Yeah, she's an awesome cook. Pretty good Korean food for an Irish girl. I just got back from my run; ran up to the local school and did intervals around the track. Pretty tough, I was sucking wind hard at the end and about ready to puke. I might go in the back yard and skip rope for five minutes as a "finisher." Is your sand run going to be on a beach (and who's the date with, you sly dog?)

It was a loose sand run on da beach.
Went on a nice date with a talented young woman whose a pretty darn good musician. She's a helluva jazz singer.
