The fact that China lied during The international sporting events of sporting events.
The fact that this is sports and there are rules and regulations that everyone had decided on in the international community.
The fact that this was China's modern day coming out party and they cheated, says a lot about character.
And that's just the side that doesn't have to do with physicality.

Originally posted by Mike BrewerI agree, it's against the rules and it's cheating. A sporting event is an agreed upon contest played by an agreed upon set of rules. If China violated it, they deserve to pay the consequences.
But I have a problem with people saying that cheating coaches and athletes in the Olympics is a reflection of national character. If that's the case, then Floyd Landis, Marion Jones, and 50% of major league baseball mean Americans have no character either.
I think it's a little bit extreme to equate having underage competitors at the Olympics to being a nation of low character.
What will be revealing about the character of the CCP is that they will never admit to having cheated no matter how much evidence comes to light. They will just deny and deny and deny until the world gets tired and gives up on it.
