Obama has twenty years of experience as a leader, community organizer and constitutional scholar. He has Eleven years of experience in elective office. He spent eight years in the Illinois Senate, four years in the US senate, three years as a community organizer. He worked for a civil rights law firm specializing in neighborhood economic development, he taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago and has also worked as a financial analyst. He is also an accomplished author.

Obama’s record as a senator is impressive, he has served on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the Committee of Veterans Affairs, the Committee for Health, Education Labor and Pension and the Committee of Homeland Security and Governmental affairs. He has sponsored or co-sponsored 570 bills in the 109th and 110th Congress (15 of which have become LAW). He has introduced amendments to 50 bills (16 were of which were adopted by the Senate). These bills reveal the decency of his character: Energy Efficiency and Climate Change (25 bills); Health care (21 bills) and public health (20 bills); Consumer protection/labor (14 bills); The needs of Veterans and the Armed Forces (13 bills); Congressional Ethics and Accountability (12 bills); Foreign Policy (10 bills); Voting and Elections (9 bills); Education (7 bills); Hurricane Katrina Relief (6); The Environment (5 bills); Homeland Security (4 bills); Discrimination (4 bills)

Palin who has been a governor for less than 20 months, previously served as the major of a small town of 6,500, Wasilla, whose headline news samplings range from the winner of the local 79 pound cabbage contest to an altercation at the local intersection. Oh yeah, she also served on the PTA. This is a person quoted to say, “I haven’t really focused on the war in Iraq…” or the classic, “I don’t know what a VP does.” Are you kidding me?

    P.S. Being hot isn't really a qualification...

Obama is a leftwing Radical in every sense of the word, the majority of the United States do not support him, unless they are lefties too.

the reality is that Obama will destroy McCain in the election and rightly so.
The reasons why are now obscured in the recesses of my mind but i know they are correct and worth fighting for.

McCain also said he would never do anything bad for the country in order to win an election, and yet he has a VP candidate who doesn't have more than an undergrad degree in Journalism from the University of Iowa.

You can hear what Republican strategists had to say about Palin when they thought the mic wasn't on...

She also believes that creationism should be taught instead of evolution in science classrooms... But I guess you can't expect much from someone who thinks global warming is man-made and that abortion should be illegal even in the case of rape or incest... or who takes away money from single moms and supports abstinence-only education (which obviously didn't work for her own daughter).

She's also sued the Bush administration for designating polar bears as endangered, was for earmarks before she was against them, and she's for the aerial shooting of wolves.

In fact she even tried last year to have the state pay $150 for every wolf killed, but the state superior court shot that down as an illegal use of bounty payments, which were outlawed in that state in 1984.

Anyway, hopefully someone has answered her question "what does a vice president do, anyway?" lol

It is very clear from looking at the proposal that taxes for lower income Americans will decline under Obama.

Not so with McCain's proposal. But I guess you can't expect much from someone who doesn't even remember how many houses he has.

Oops, I meant to say Idaho. When I think journalism I always think of the University of Iowa because they actually have a reputation for putting out good writers. My bad.

So in the end, taxing corporations will only raise prices to offset the tax. This just leads to poor people having to pay a greater portion of their income on necessities like food, clothing, utilities.

An Increase of 5% in prices to a poor person has a much large impact that 5% for a rich person.
The same trickle-down economics that worked so well for Bush which is why our economy is thriving right now.

Obama would give larger tax cuts to low- and moderate-income households whereas McCain would give the biggest cuts to the highest-income households... That would be those making more than 5 million dollars a year, since McCain's definition of "middle class" is those making less than 5 million dollars a year.

The guy just doesn't get it.

Did anybody ever tell him how many houses he owns yet?

Except that creationism isn't at all scientific and there is supposed to be a separation between church and state.

But maybe science teachers could teach about aliens, too, and then debate. Or Bigfoot. Or astrology.
