I'm not a doctor, but I'll tell you what I'd do if it was me...
it's a tough call to make, but it's your call.
breaks tend to heal on their own, but they don't always heal the way you may like them to. the longer you go without treatment, chances are the less likely you'll be able to influence that...and your hand may end up being slightly deformed at the end...no worse than it looks now...which may influence mobility slightly if it does now...basically, if it's functional now and doesn't bother you- just RICE it for a while...but if the nub freaks you out or you have lost any sensation or mobility, you may want to check it out before it gets too late. Also at any sign of illness or infection...zip yourself to the hospital asap. There is some really scary shit out there.
unfortunately there are those that HAVE put a price on health.
