I'll just hang here and think about BBQ Tuna... hmmmm...
I'll eat just about anything, but damn that sounds awful.

Are you talking about grilling a tuna steak? cause that's good.

I don't know if there's a "shelf life" on dried fish parts but most of the FRESH stuff around here is several days are even weeks (dead)... Nothing against fermented style quisine but...

I'd enjoy various "sushi" dishes more if it didn't involve sitting on a toilet 10 times a day...
Don't get me wrong I like my surf n' turf too.

Yeah... not grilled but almost "smoked"... slow and low (heat)

I'll sear it for a few seconds on each side and eat it raw if I gut it myself but the closest I can get to real FRESH is yesterday unless I catch it.

I'm picky about my fish but not too cultured. Dry salted roe bags don't sound particularly appetizing to me...

Not a fan of the salted, smoked salmon. Its just too salty for my taste - but for some reason, I like the dried, spiced cuttlefish. Weird, I know.

I don't drink that much either. Had 2 beers last night - had to get up for a long, slow run early in the morn.

You guys got me in the mood for asian food!

                My kind of thread.

It was my birthday on Friday, so I spent Saturday with my family drinking lots of Cobra beer, Rioja, Malbec, and some Highland Single Malt for good measure.

                Happy days

I usually keep it to 2 a day. Don't want a beer gut, or to be mistaken for a fat slob.

On the other forum I mainly post on, it's mostly rum drinkers, and specifically, those into exotic, tropical drinks....

But for me, I usually get the following:

                                Mini keg of Heineken light

and/or Gin and Tonic, my favorite drink!

The gin has to be Bombay sapphire, the tonic water hopefully Stirrings, but if not a shweppes will do. The trick is the ice has to be very fresh. It can't have been in your fridge very long. Then a twist of lime! Good drink that is not to sweet!
I normally lean toward Jack Daniels Single barrel, in a tumbler, neat.
