She actually told me it was Brewer and his crew that drove her away.

After his rant about martial artists being pathetic because their lives were 1 dimensional and their time would be better spent on other things.

She was trying to get into writing for MMARated.

I remember that she admired Boarspear but he rejected her. I think that crushed her. Maybe she will pop in since this is in the open forum.

I think both theories are perhaps a little dramatic.

An internet forum typically has a high degree of member turnover. The discussions by their nature are largely cyclical, and therefore after a while most people feel like they have already said what they had to say. Certainly if you compare the number of regular members contributing on this forum to where we were 2 years ago, its like a ghost town.

Treelizard always struck me as an intelligent and rationale person, I doubt that anyone on the end of the keyboard would have driven her away or crushed her. As KOTF says her focus was moving very much into MMA, and the last time she PM'd me she did say that the forum didn't have much to offer on that front. I suspect, given the discussions that we used to have between us, that she's over on the SBGI forum.

I wish I still had the PM. It was very clear what she said, no theory involved at all.

But I think too mainly she wanted to focus on writing for an MMA periodical of some sort.
