  • Kenpo Question

'Yes kenpo wors [works] well for women since we depend more on the laws of physics than brute force. ' -Troy Allen Chaney

The last time I checked, and I COULD be wrong, but force (be it brute or otherwise) is a strong focal point in the science of physics.

    Help a brutha out here....

        Re: Kenpo

I and my fellow kenpo practitioners like to think of the speed work as 'raining a flood of .22 slugs instead of firing and having to reload a cannon.'

Force is a major focal point in physics, and so is the topic of collision/momentum-impulse relationship. Read about it if you don't know. Physics is why martial arts work--it's all a study in physics.
