IMO, there are fake psychics sure - a few 'fakes' could be ruining things for the 'real' psychics, who are now to afraid to actually demonstrate their'powers' for fear of being shunned.

David Blain is a pathetic excuse for a trickster.

I will show you why: pick a number between 1 and 50.














Some of you may know that when asked to pick a number between 1 and 50, most people will say 37. It's psychological.

Davis Blain says: Pick a number between 1 and 50. AND just to make it 'interesting' (easy) make them both odd numbers.... and both digits have to be different, eg 15.

(Now they are left with 13,17,19,31,35, 37 which they were likely to go for anyway, 39. They won't go for 15 because it was given as an example)

And his 'levitation' trick is based on camera trickery. He does a crappy levitation trick and records the audience response of "Wow that was totaly not fake, there were no wires or anything". Then he sets up some wires and records himself being lifted high into the air. Put the two together and you have:

Blain rises high into the air.
"Oh my god that was not fake there were no wires."

Blain is now on lizard's revenge list.

I believe in some of that predicting the future stuff though. I've had personal experience of that myself. No doubt 99% of what we read about is co-incidence and fakers though.

I watched a program a while back with some British "mind control" guy who knocked a guy flying a few feet without touching them!

Firstly, they had this Wing Chun guy demonstrate a one-inch punch. Then the mind control guy demonstrated how he could knock a guy backwards by waving his hands about and then punching "Yellow Bamboo" style!

Hey you're talking about Derren Brown. He's not fake because the stuff he does is psychological, he admits that it's all psychological, he used to be a psychologist. He even tells you how he does some of his tricks as well, they work.
