I was unsure about adding the last option because it splits the votes against bush. But I knew that most people hate him anyway. Considering that option 4 is making fun of his paranoia over terrorism, I think we can safely say that's the vote is 5 - 1 AGAINST Bush. And I don't call him president because he isn't. He is not democraticaly elected, he CHEATED on the election.

I think hes an excellent president....better than anything the democrats have produced in the last 40 years. Oh and he was actually elected president.....three separate and independent studies of the election have proven that..so stop beating that horses ass. As for being stupid.. well hes graduated either Harvard or Yale with an MBA.....what were your academic qualifications again? He was a jet fighter pilot...what is it you do? As for being a liar...well Al Gore is the one who stood in front of hundreds of people and told them how his mother used to sing him to sleep by singing "Look for the Union Label". He was 28 years old when the song was written...which either makes him teh biggest pussy in the world.....some kind of pervert... or A LIAR. Speaking of liars...how about Bill "I did not have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky" Cllinton? He lied to and was convicted of lying under oath to a grand jury. Both of them lied about the economy....it was going in the tank before they left office...growth was at 1.2% during the last six months of their adminstration. It is at 1.5% right now.
      Lizard you are an idiot!

He was not elected, who conducted those studies?

I didn't say the democrats were any better, they're all the same.

I don't care what qualifications Bush's daddy has bought for him he is an idiot.

This is an assinine thread that biased from the beginning. I don't think a poll should be started with choices of "good" or "very bad". They aren't comparable. Second, there are more options of bad for Bush. If you want a poll indicative of something, make it a little less opinionated.

As for Bush, he's a good PRESIDENT!! Who cares about Clinton, Bush Sr, Reagan, Carter or anyone else? They are out of office and therefore, irrelevant to the conversation of Bush's presidency. I voted for Gore, but I'm now glad that Bush was elected. Gore wouldn't have half the cohones Bush does to get some stuff done. Yes, Bush is far from perfect and there are alot of things that he does that I disagree with, but I don't think Gore could've gotten it done. Lesser of 2 evils (or greater of 2 not-so-goods if you prefer) is George W. Bush.

I just like to know one thing, if the system as it is used now in the states makes it possible that the person with the most votes still doesn't get into the whitehouse, or the other waty around, the one with the least gets in, don't the votes in different states have different values, isn't a vote from a state/district with a big population woth less than that in a state with a small population
And if so isn't that a form of discrimination
I know the thought behind it is, you can always have a representative from you district, but wouldn't you rather have someone representing your thouggts than your area

Realize that many votes are never counted in our elections. Once a race is decided that there is a high enough percentage to insure victory in that state the rest of the votes are not counted. This usually means mail in votes are not counted.

In the election Bush actually did recieve more votes throughout the country. The problem was florida. And the system certified Bush the winner. Then Gore challenged the system by using another system and eventually lost. That is the wonderful thing about america. A problem can occur and it does not destroy the country.

In the past it has never been an issue because the other person concedes. Gore did concede the election and then recanted. And then kept going and going until he had shown his own lack of charater.

I have always believed that there is a reason for everything. And when Sept 11. happened I figured that is why it all happened.

Yes I know the poll isn't very good but it's too late now.

The use of the word "Very" and biased beggining are balanced by the way the vote against bush has been split.

And as for the democrats I beleive them to be just as bad as the republicans, at least the republicans admit that they are right-wing.

Are you implying that Bush has the divine right of kings and that he was chosen by god to help fight terrorism?

But then when the it is decided per district, does a big state ( bigger population) get more senators, if not than a New York vote is less worth than a Texas vote
Lets say that 51% of the states so 27 states have 30 % of the population then you would be able to win with only 30% of the votes not very democratic is it?

The United States is a Democratic Republic.

                            Each state gets two senators.

Each state gets x number of representitives based on population.

There are 100 senators (2 senators x 50 states) and 435 members of the House of Representitives.

All totaled we have 1 President, 1 Vice President, 535 members of congress and 9 Justices on the US supreme court.

In a democracy a majority vote carries the day.

A democracy is a sheep and 3 wolves sitting down to vote on what's for dinner.

As I stated earlier, the US is a democratic republic using the Electoral College to select the President/Vice President in National Elections.

Each state gets 1 electoral vote for each member of congress.

Here is a site with more detail.

Lizard's poll is just so much biased whitewash bullshit. Of course, so are most of Lizard's posts.
