any martial art(except pure grappling ones) will at least teach you all the right basic techniques like your jab, cross, hook, round(house) kick, etc. put those tools in the hands of a speed demon like Li and you've got yourself one hell of a fight on your hands. it'd be the same with an untrained guy who was that quick, he'll give you a damn lot of trouble.

pretty well. most everybody's got size on me, but i hold my own and more in....well, not the ring, but the grappling mat and striking floor.

i guess i'm more of a striker...but i'm a member of a dojo that just doesn't seem to know what it wants to be, it's a combination of two TMA's into an original curriculum based on the ability to defend oneself on the street, but we also have a few katas, and we roll with a BJJ guy once in a while, and have a few grappling sessions, and our sparring is basically hit anywhere, but with gloves and foot pads.

The school I go to now is a BJJ school. We also do MT there and cross train with Judo, Aikido, and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu......mostly for takedowns.

sounds cool mate...it's too bad we don't have anything like that in my town (too small....but rich), or else i would definitely check it out. there's some similar ones in the city, but it's too much of a commute to go to a school there.

I have seen Seagal many times at many different places all over the nation.

I don't know if I could take out Seagal cuz I have never fought him, but if he challenged me I would because I don't fear him. I figure as long as he doesn't sit on me I'm fine.......lol
