  • injustices in american society

tell me some of the injustices that occur in america that you think need changed. i'll start off.

whats up with car insurance now. first that gets me about it is the way they charge males more money for insurance than they charge women. they say that more males get in accidents. i say bull ****. its more like women get away with it more because some fat lonley police man pulls her over and she shows him something and they call it even.

and whats up with blaming kobe for rape. poor guy. if it wasn't for that tramp going up to his room and offering herself.

Yeah wtf is up with minorities getting benifits just for being a minotiry. Like jobs have to hire a certain amount of minorities. So if a black guy and a white guy apply and the job place hasnt met is quota for minorities the black guy gets the job no matter what. thats complete BS. My dad almost lost a job when he was a construction worker because he didnt have any minorities working on the site so he told them he was black and the cant argue with you so he kept the job. I have nothing against any minority i just think its BS that the government is always promotin being equal but give special benifits to the minorities.but at the same time i would rather live here than any other country just some things piss me off. THANKS that felt good.

So if you claim to be of a certain race then they have to accept it and treat you as if you are? So if I say that of my four grandparents: 1 is black, 1 is white, 1 is asian and 1 is reptilian (have too account for the green skin and tail). I get special treatment for every situtation. Right I'll have some money for being black, extra job opportunities for being asian, less chance of being discriminated against because I'm part of the white majority plus I get to tell racist jokes about everyone and they can't be offended!

only people that get discriminated by positive discrimination are white males, but this is not limited to the US, a lot of european coutries have it too
If not against another race than against the other gender
In my country community venters show that very clear, something is organized for everyone BUT white males from the age of 16

Although I understand the need voor a limited period of positive discrimination in the jobmarket, I do not understand this in case of the communitycenters, am I as a white male not part of the community?

To me it appears that the last couple of years, the rights of the individual have to yield to economical interrests, especially when it comes to computers and the internet

                limited period of positive discrimination
                What?!?

That's like saying that you can justify a limited period of positve rape....

But of course, that's before TSCoUS ruled that it's ok to discriminate if you think you have a good reason for doing so.

Imagine for a moment: Someone has killed six people by getting a job as a door to door salesman then stabbing them as soon as they open the door, he's just come out of prison, he's served his time and he wants you to employ him as... a door to door salesman. Do you discriminate against him because of his past?

                  OR

Two people: Person A has a terminal disease that will kill them in less than a year. Person B does not. They each have a heart condition which will be fatal if left untreated. You only have the resources to treat one of them. Which will it be? Will you discriminate against person A because they will die soon anyway?

                  Discrimination has it's place.

It was a point about discrimination and how we all do it.

No, equal opportunity means not discriminating against anyone. Or at least, that's what it's supposed to mean.

Current politically correct thinking now does not even recommend equality. Oh No. You should not treat people equally. You should treat them "in accordance with their needs".

when I say limited time, I mean for the whole group not per individual, so for us that would be turks and marrocans
If you do not limit it in time, it will eventually have no or the reverse effect like in my country white people taking less efford to get a job
I once asked about a job at a Public Transport company and was asked if I had a color
I didn't like it but did understand it, as I do it for the police ( which has to represent the society in it's make up)

But then why don't political parties do the same if it is so darn politicaly correct how many black senators do you see? and how many female senators are there?

10 years of positive discrimination one a certaain group is ok but more makes them dependent on it
I don't think it should apply to the 2nd generation and the 2.5 generation( thats what you get from the marriage of a 2nd gen with some-one from the original country)

But again this is not something restricted to the US, most western countries have this, probably out of guild for slavery

I think there are worse injustices in our countries than positive discrimination
