  • Anyone like outdoors stuff?

I was just wondering how many people were into outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and atving.

I like to hunt and fish.

    I'm too poor to atv.

    I really like to backpack.

ATVing is riding 4 wheelers for fun. I have a camp in Mississippi where I deer hunt and I live in Louisiana so the fishing is awesome. I have 2 ATV's at the moment. Got a 300 honda 4x4 and just bought a Yamaha 660 Grizzly.

What kind of stuff do you hunt Spanky?

I was just thinking about this because deer season just opened by the way. In case anyone was wondering. Do you bow hunt or rifle hunt Spanky?

Rifle hunt. I don't like dressing up in camo and sprinkling myself with urine and sitting in a tree stand to bow hunt.

Mule Deer and Elk. Pheasant and cute little bunny rabbits.

              Just kidding

I thought you'd be judo chopping those deer spanky or at least making them tap.

Somtimes I'll climb a tree and wait for the biggest buck (only ones over 300 lbs will do) to come walking buy. I'll then jump on his back and slit his throat with my swiss army knife and then do a Tai Otoshi or Tomoe Nage into a front arm (or is it hoof?) bar and hold him there until he bleeds out.

I often use this same technique on 'the street' to take care of ruffians and internal stylists.

Seriously though, I don't get to hunt much but I thoroughly enjoy being out and about and well armed.

The best hunting (like the best fishing) is when the wildlife has sense enough not to disturb my napping....

I remember two years ago my father shot a deer and I ended up tracking it over several miles (gut shot). When I finally found the thing it was just laying there still and looked dead as all hell. It wasn't until I grabbed a hold of his horns and started dragging him that he decided he wanted to live and jumped up and started fighting for his life.

Probably the scariest hunting moment I have ever had.

I want to try rock climbing, it looks really cool and fun, plus its a great way to increase functional strength. but i'm too poor to afford it....gotta get my bum ass a job instead of reading internet post boards all day

You're not supposed to gut shoot 'em.

                      That's no fun for anyone.

I don't think it was intentional. My father is a pretty good shot but everybody messes up sometimes. I prefer to take neck or head shots when I take one. I made one of the best shots of my life last year when I took a coyote at 450yds. on a head shot.

What's the biggest deer any of you hunters have killed?

Head or heart shooting a game animal is lots of fun!

I've only shot one deer. A baby two pointer. Best venison I ever 'et.
