Coincidentally, it will be a few months before the seminar.

    How lucky we are.

Spanky and Tom you have fun with those sheep now.

I work in a hospital, I supervise the cardiovascular lab. We do echocardiography, Peripheral, carotid, and cerebral vascular diagnostics. We also perform graded cardiac stress tests and metabolics.

I am also a respiratory therapist and cover the floors, ICU, and ER after diagnostic hours and rotating weekends. I also sub in cardiac rehab.

I am thinking about quitting and becoming a school teacher. That way I'll have a set schedule.
I’ll have evenings off and weekends and holidays off too. I’ll be starting work on my master’s degree in physical education after February 2004.

You know what they say? "Those who cannot do; teach, and those who cannot teach; teach phys-ed". [Jack Black school of rock and roll]

Tech Consultant near Oxford (Woodstock). Not earning a great deal for a graduate, but better than most at the moment.

Train Wado Ryu twice a week but do general exercise at home depending on the weather (note, at the moment when I wake up I sometimes have to scrape ice off the insides of my windows!

Also when I get chance I double the times I train so I can learn from visiting Sensei's, so far have learned a bit of Tai-Chi, Jujitsu, Kung-Fu, Various Karate styles, Kickboxing and Street-Defense techniques. Although my knowledge is mostly academic rather than practical, I try to use some of this everytime I spar with others that are competent enough to handle my mistakes...

I couldn't support my training fiscally, so I cancelled my mobile phone, which has given me an extra £50 per month for stuff like impact pads etc.

Planning on moving to Dublin next year to study an MSc in Forensic Computing

I missed the thread the first time around...

I'll give you the arrogant version... but I'm proud of what I do.

                Work:
I'm a French/Spanish teacher to 8th graders and I teach Russian to 7th graders using a curriculum that myself and another foreign language educator wrote and went for approval before the General Curriculum Committee for approval last year.

I am also the school's technology liaison. This means that the county for which I work (Harford County, MD) has identified me as a technology leader in my school. They send me to monthly meetings where the county spends money on me and others to ensure that we are kept on the cutting edge of educational technology. I then am charged with leading my local school in technology, meaning I perform all the training and am basically a technology cheerleader. We have a small, core-group of individuals who are willing to meet with me biweekly and increase their skills and awareness.

I am also the superuser for a county-wide grading program which integrates with a template-driven website hosting service, Edline.net. Each teacher/class is given its own class-page to which the educator can upload class-related documents, links, and even password protected progress reports.

                Art:
I am currently teaching classes in Hoshin Jitsu Ryu (not the one that shows up when you Google it). This is a slight variation off of ninjitsu. The basics (kihon happo) are identical, but we make a few adjustments, which if you study ninjitsu, are essential to the art anyway. We also build in some philipino stick fighting and incorporate the hand and foot movements.
