  • Free CrossFit Training, Houston TX, 9/2/06

    Hey everyone,

My name is Matt, I've got a small martial arts school in NW Houston, Munson's Martial Arts, that I run out of my house.

My wife Pam and I also run CrossFit Champions, the Houston area's only CrossFit affiliate. We’d like to invite you and anyone you’d like to bring along to a free CrossFit workout on September 2, 2006 at Spotts Park in downtown Houston.

In addition to the workout, the Houston Kettlebell Club will be present and putting on a free Introductory Kettlebell Training Clinic and ROCKSTAR Energy Drink will be there giving away free ROCKSTAR Energy Drinks and ROCKSTAR merchandise.

I've attached a link to the event flyer for your review and below is a little more information about CrossFit.

Please send us an email if you have any questions.

We hope to see some of ya'll September 2nd.

    Sincerely,

    Matt: matt@crossfitchampions.com
    Pam: pam@crossfitchampions.com

What is CrossFit?CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

The CrossFit program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

Who CrossFits? The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

What is Pain in the Park?CrossFit Champions hosts a free CrossFit workout for all who attend at a Houston area park on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. This workout session is absolutely free and a great way for anyone to become acquainted with the unique fitness experience that is CrossFit.

CrossFit Champions is a licensed CrossFit Affiliate located in Spring, TX, in the Champions area of NW Houston. Matt and Pam of CrossFit Champions are both Certified CrossFit Trainers.

          Treelizard,
Sorry for not responding sooner. Been real busy.
It went great. We had 16 participants in ages ranging from 13 to 62.
Here's a link to my sites gallery with a vidoe I made of the event.
