ISRAELI CLOSE RANGE COMBATIVES

In close range combatives, two opponents have closed the gap between them, so they can grab one another in hand-to-hand combat. The principles of balance, leverage, timing and body positioning are applied. Throws and take-down techniques are used to upset the opponent’s balance and gaining control of the fight by forcing him to the ground. Chocks can be applied to render the opponent unconscious.

In this seminar KAPAP ACADEMY Instructors will teach you how to gain proper body movement and grappling skills when engaged in fighting against an opponent in a close range combat. An emphasis is on countering chock techniques for self protection and applying control techniques to disable the opponent and gain advantage in the close range combat.

KAPAP ACADEMY INSTRUCTORS:

Albert Timen – KAPAP ACADEMY Founder and President. Albert has served as an undercover operator in one of the IDF special units, Police S.W.A.T. unit, tactical firearms and operational (SWAT) Instructor at the Israeli National Police Academy. He is the recipient of the Chief of staff Award of Valor for successfully arresting a "live" suicide bomber while in the progress to target, strapped with his explosive belt on and ready to detonate. He is also certified Shockinife, Sabre, PPCT and NRA instructor for LE and Military.

Jon Klieneman - KAPAP, Boxing and MMA Instructor with numerous ring achievements. Jon holds several high ranking black belts in Hapkido, Judo and a certified Instructor in Sambo and Filipino Knife systems.

Uri Kaffe – KAPAP ACADEMY Instructor and trainer. Uri is an active CQB and tactical shooting Instructor. He trained numerous Government, Law Enforcement, SWAT, and SRT units around the country and is currently teaches operational and combat skills with KAPAP ACADEMY LLC. Uri holds high ranking black belt in CSSD and Filipino MA systems as well a certified Instructor for ICS (Israeli Combat Systems).
