We are pleased to announce that our Saturday meetups in New York City will be taught by none other than then the legendary Coban Lookchaomaesaitong.
Coban is a five time world champion and two time Lumpinee stadium champion. Lumpinee Boxing Stadium is an indoor sporting arena located in Bangkok, Thailand and has become the symbol of modern Muay Thai. There is a tremendous amount of prestige of holding the title of "Muay Thai Champion of Lumpinee". Coban fought during the 1990’s which was the golden era of Muay Thai and was one of the biggest Thai boxing names of his time to go international. Coban fought more than 270 fights and was also known as the "man with the golden left hand". Known for his aggressive style Coban’s knockout reels have become things of legend among Muay Thai fans.
