Definition of a "Wannabee"
DISCLAIMER: Not directed at anyone in particular or intended to flame, just FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
A wannabee is a soldier/marine/other who claims to have done something or been in a certain battle and was not. Example, I fought in Vietnam. (The truth is the person was never in Vietnam.)
Definition 2-- Someone who was in Vietnam or another conflict but Over exaggerates what he/she did there. Example, I had 35 KIA's and earned the Bronze Star. When actually, I never engaged the enemy, but I was in the area for 12 months.
Definition 3-- Someone who wears Rank or Medals or ensigna that she/he did not earn or test for.
Definition 4- I was a Ranger, Green Beret, Recon Marine, or Navy Seal. The truth is He/She was an ordinary enlisted person.
