What's it like?

I've had dear (in sausage form).

Elk is lean and has a flavor like venison but not as *gamy(sp?).

It's better than beef IMO.

I agree mate, elk is delicious innit. Raindeer is too right. Pheasant and rabbit are my favourite game though. I remember being taught how to cook a myxi rabbit cos it's easier to catch than a healthy one innit. mmmmmm'

Myxi rabbit in red wine sauce right

1 x myxomatose rabbit
1/2 cup red wine
1 tablespoon balsmatic vinegar
1 onion, chopped really damn fine right
1 clove garlic chopped up little


1. Cut the rabbit's head off. this is really important cos it has myki:

2. Skin the rabbit.

3. Chop the rabbit meat up into thin slices and stir fry with a little oil until nearly cooked through

4. Mix up the wine and vinegar and add onion and garlic. add this to the rabbit in the pan.

5. Simmer for at least ten more minutes.

6. Serve with spuds and veg right.
