That didn't sound like what he was saying to me at all. Maybe he would still be posting on this thread if he didn't have to waste his time on immature children with solid citations and evidence such as, "Because I said so" or "An expert told me...." Seems to me that DN *is* an expert in his own right because he's actually experienced this shit IRL and survived...

But I would be interested in hearing what FMA drills and knifework didn't work for people in zero sum conflicts. Might be something useful to know. More useful than "my art is better than your art" BS, or implying that somebody hadn't trained properly if they can't execute a technique the way they did on a piece of meat hanging up in their kitchen when they have to do it in real life in a zero sum conflict where the stakes are high and they have tons of adrenaline dumping through their system and they ain't thinkin' straight.

What combat zone were you in?

I would like to know which set of FMA guys he and his crew demolished in training. How many times has this happened? Have you tried your technique of "grip 'n stab" on say, Dan Inosanto? How 'bout James Keating? Or Kelly Worden? Paul Vunak?

Hmmm, seems like it'd be more important for me whether an FMA drill would work FOR ME in a zero sum conflict than if it would for, say, Guro Dan...
