I was speaking in general terms of the current behavior by LEOs and the Military in general. Everyday there is another example of piss poor training and a lack of integrity brought to light.

Someone on a different list I'm on, who is serving right now, made a really good point--he said it gives and and comfort to our enemies when people are constantly hovering over the war effort like vultures circling a carcass for the slighest mistake a Servicemember makes. He even compared it to bigotry, the skin color being green (blue) and the race being the servicemember--said that if one green (blue) kills innocent civilians, people assume they all must be. And he said it hurts. WE ARE AT WAR and like he pointed out, this war is a war of ideas--what do you think the ammunition is?

Go ahead and rail on me some more , I know it's coming, but I would think that a former servicemember would have some more respect for those who are serving now, just like they show respect to others who have served before them.

There is no room for cowardice behind the badge. Sadly there is room for abuse behind that badge. LEO's are selected out of the population, screened and tested but the process is far from perfect. A few bad ones are bound to get through the system.

Actually I'd seen the article before I posted but was wondering if anybody else had, then I posted it because apparently one person hadn't and called me a rumor monger. Did you read the article I posted and just conveniently decide not to respond to it? Are you planning on addressing the issue I brought out or conveniently ignore that as well?

I posted the news from my friend to see if anybody had read it in the mainstream press yet (as it was published several days ago). I was planning on posting it after people replied with responses like Garland's but did it earlier than that because someone implied it was a "rumor" and I wanted to clear that up right quick.

I'm glad that I am not immune to your name-calling and conspiracy theories. Like I said before, I stand in some damn fine company.

All right let me say this one more time for the SLOW people (Boar). I posted the question to see what kind of response it would get after having already read the article. When someone accused me of being a rumor monger I decided to correct that fact by posting it earlier than I'd originally planned (which was after getting more responses like Garland's).

The rest of your half-lies I've already cleared up for those of us that can read and understand basic logic.
