All right let me say this one more time for the SLOW people (Boar). I posted the question to see what kind of response it would get after having already read the article. When someone accused me of being a rumor monger I decided to correct that fact by posting it earlier than I'd originally planned (which was after getting more responses like Garland's).
The rest of your half-lies I've already cleared up for those of us that can read and understand basic logic.
I'll let you get back to your imaginary world now.
You claimed the people on the front lines wanted to know if shit they found made the mainstream news...then you claimed they sent you the story FROM the mainstream news!! so now your story is you lied when you posted the thread to see what kinds of responses you would get?
Get some sleep and take your meds BTW babble on I'm done wasting time on you 3rd graders and jedi knights.
I never said that people on the front lines wanted to know if "shit they found" made mainstream news. What I wrote was that friends serving told me WMDs were found. Gee, do you think when documents get declassified and SENATORS have conference calls, maybe that PUBLIC information gets passed on to people on the front lines even though we don't hear about it?
The article WAS forwarded to me from someone who's serving. Have you ever considered the fact that someone might know *more than one person* serving in Iraq right now? You really do seem to have trouble with complex reasoning.
And yeah, I did post the story to see what kind of responses I'd get after having read the article... It's not like people haven't posted things on here to see what reaction they'd get before making their point, but maybe you can't think back that far?

In all seriousness how do you, as a woman, reconcile the requirement to be treated "equally" with the reality that tests are lowered to allow more of you to pass?

I don't think that tests should be lowered to allow women (or anyone else, for that matter) to pass.
I suppose you could call me "sexist" because I also think that (with some exceptions) men are much more suited for combat and women will have to work a lot harder to reach the same level of proficiency. If they can't hack it, they should get the f*** out.
I don't want to die because someone lowered test requirements so that women could be "equal."
