It isn't top secret, Some COMMANDS will allow you to carry sawed off SG's and some won't. I carried a SG when I was active duty in Lebanon and Israel in the 80's, barrel length depended on the task at hand more than anything else...

At the close ranges that usually happen over there its a great weapon...the only drawback is when everyone else's weapon goes pop, pop, pop and yours goes boom you stand out.

problem is...your weapon NEVER blends into the sounds of the battle, every time you fire allies and enemies notice.

i play battlefield 2 a lot and i too am dismayed by the weapons given to our armed forces. how are weak 3 round bursts going to stand up against ak47s and ak 101s that just spray gunfire and blow craters through everything. this game rocks, check it out.....theres even two seater cobras and two seater aircraft lol. one player mans the aircraft while another can man weapons like the gattling under the nose of the cobra, tv guided missles, and laser guided bombs.

that games so awesome. i was playing last night, and the other teams soldiers were flying around in a blackhawk and whoring us with the gatlings so i fired on the blackhawk with my ak101 and shot like 4 people out of the chopper lol....
