Hey everyone. I know it's been a while since I pounded these boards, but it has been difficult at best to read the forum, let alone post. So my apologies for not supporting the site and it's users in the past few months, as well as the foreseeable future. In saying that, I also want to say thanks to those of you who have sent your greetings and concerns through other forums or at my Traveller email address (note that email is dead for a while.)
There is the apologies part.
I also wanted to give you all a fond farewell, and ask that you all keep me in mind for a while.
I will be heading to a variety of "violence rich" regions over the next 6 months or so -- AFG, Balad, Bagdad, Manas, Jabuti, etc -- in between danger zones I will hopefully spend some time in safer locals like UAE.
The good news is I will be with nothing less than the finest warriors in the world -- the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marines.
When ever possible, I will try to keep up with reading post, and perhaps giving you some idea of how we are actually doing down range, so you have something other than the news network's opinions.
I am looking forward to this, and the only worry is that my little Guy (4 yrs) is going to miss me -- he is one heck of a daddy's boy, and does everything with me.
For those of you who pray, please keep the men and women I will support and supervise in your prayers. I will need to be at the top of my game to provide them the best I can.
