I like it too, but it's on when I have class so I don't get to see it much. The book that it was originally based on, "Inside Delta Force: The Story of America's Elite Counterterrorist Unit" by Eric Haney, is a must-read.
I dig it. I'd like it even better if they would cut out all of the personal home-life crap. The new intro with them in suits irritates me a little. I know alot of their work is under cover, but it's just much more fun to look at them all geared up
*rolls eyes*
The only woman I don't want to smack around on that show is Jonas' wife. Her head's in the right place.
In the attempt to encourage female watchers, they're polluting Heroes with idiotic, irrelevant, and heavy-handed romance subplots. I know Heroes has nothing in common with The Unit, but I really like it, so I thought I'd stick this in here
A woman like Jonas' wife would be truly hard to find in the real world, though. It took me a lot of wrong ones before I found one like her, and I know a lot more people who get it wrong than who get it right. People get hung up on the wrong things, I guess.
Being with the wrong gal is usually self-correcting - or atleast it has been for me lol.
A person who is said to be proficient in the arts is like a fool. Because of his foolishness in concerning himself with just one thing, he thinks of nothing else and thus becomes proficient. - Hagarkure
I didn't see the first season, so I'm really divided about the Colonel. I thought it was awesome how he stuck by his men and played his bitchy-evil-wife. But that was kind of negated by his history with the resident psycho-whore, also known as Mack's wife. Look at all this drama. Jeez.
*sighs
I just want them to get on with business.
