Open Question: I have an original xbox and want to put it in a drawer that can be cra

Well, I want to put my xbox in a drawer where it has plenty of room, but I'm assuming that when I play it, the drawer will be open only about a couple of inches. Will it overheat like the 360? Also, is there a way to put the xbox sideways? I've tried it but it won't eject the disk tray. Thank you have a nice day.
