Open Question: Xbox 360 help!!!!!!!!!?

My mic keeps breaking. I can talk out of it, but I can't hear out of it. I have to hear through the speakers. If you have any info. on how to help please do. I want to know how this keeps happening(what causes it). And how to fix it(A solution). Please help.

its probably just the wireing. you might have to open the screws and solder the wires back to the right place. i that doesnt work you need to buy a new one
