Open Question: Will i lose my achievements if i...?

ok, well i just got my 360 and i have only played that kung fu panda game so far, but i recently also bought bioshock and when i first made my my gamertag, i didnt have xbox live so it said to make an offline gamertag. when i eventually get live, will i have to make an online tag and lose my achievements? i dont want to start bioshock if thats the case.

I dont think you will lose your achievements because your only changing the name on your profile
