  • Best Digital Picture Frame for Elderly

My brother lived with my parents and would show them photos and videos of my kids on a tablet. They really look forward to those pictures. I want to get them a very simple to use digital picture frame so I can keep sending them photos and videos. They do not know how to use technology at all. No phone or computer. I’m looking for a picture frame that - is larger - can play video - very easy to use, maybe with a remote (no responsive screens like waving a hand over a sensor etc) - has good sound - ideally notifies of new pictures of videos sent I’m not concerned about cost. Has anyone come across something like this

I like the Aura frames. There’s an app so it’s really easy to send pictures. Both grandma and in laws have one.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s beautiful that you’re thinking about helping your parents stay connected to your family through photos and videos—it’s such a comforting way to keep those memories alive. When my grandma moved in with us, she wasn’t tech-savvy at all, and we wanted to share family updates with her easily. We got her a Nixplay digital picture frame, and it was perfect. It’s super simple to use—no confusing gestures or buttons. It has a remote, and we could send new photos and videos directly to it. The notifications feature was great because she’d get excited every time something new popped up.
