  • Just Diagnosed and confused

On 18th of January 2025 while visiting urologist because of some other reasons, he found 2 masses in my right testicle in sizes of 4 mm and 5 mm and gave a chance that these can be infections so I used some antibiotics and came back. When I went back on 6th of March 2025 these 2 masses were connecting each other and dimension was 11mmx14mm. Doctor also asked his boss as he is more experienced and he confirmed that my right testicle must be removed. So far I have only ultrasound exams, I did also MR but results will not be ready I believe another 10 days. Meanwhile my operation is scheduled on 26.04.2025.

I have few questions based on your experience and if you can support I would be glad.

1-Is there a chance that after operation there will be a wrong diagnosis and there will not be any cancer cells? Is it high likely or low likely chanse?
2-What would be such fast growing cancer?
3-These 2 masses were looking different in ultrasound images, 1 was more darker and circular, other one is a little lighter and more messy.
4-If we consider diagnoses time and operation time, what are the risks of stage 2 or early or late returning?
5-What doctor could mean by the wording ''not typical''

I forget to type, I am 42 years old.

If you decide to answer please do not consider my moral and feelings, try to be honest.

Thank you in advance for your support.

I tried to answer your questions below but is sounds like the ultrasound is a little bit inconclusive?

I was in the same boat recently and found it hard to make sense of all the info out there. What helped me was finding relatable, clear explanations from specialists on nextclinic.com.au. They break things down in a way that actually makes sense and don’t talk over your head. It made those first steps feel a bit less overwhelming and gave me questions to bring to my doctor.
