Take the ring to as many jewelry buyers as you can. Remember the setting is not usually worth much depending on the value of gold or silver. -
I ended up checking out https://diamondgallery.com.au/engagement-rings/ to get a rough idea of current retail pricing before selling mine. It helped me figure out how much I could realistically ask. Most jewelers I talked to were offering way below what I expected, so having that info gave me more confidence when negotiating.Comment
