  • arm -- side view to front view??

alright first of all this isn't really a martial arts training question just a weird thing i noticed. when i look at my arms from the side they seem big and muscular, but from the front they seem really skinny. i'm talking about my forearms and my upper arms.

it might have something to do with the fact that i'm only 14..(?) anyway, any comments / excercises would be appreciated.

That is sort of the same with me. When I look at my arms they look more defined then when I look straight on at them in a mirror. But I think that has to do with my shoulders. They are fairly large compared to the rest of my body. I dont know why, but I was somewhat built like a football player.

It does give quite a bit of extra power to my punches though.

      thats normal.

focus on TRICEPS, not biceps. Biceps are for beach going pretty boys, Triceps are for people who are serious about arm size and strength. (Triceps make up about 70% of the total "upper arm" size)

There are no beaches in idaho.

I am in Utah, I *know*. Unless you're out flexing at Coeur
          d'Alene in 15 degree weather.
