Hey guys(and girls), what is your opinions on the use of ankle weights. I have a pair of 5 lb ankle weights that i used to go running with. I was thinking of adding them to my plyometrics routine and maybe use them to strengthen my kicks. I heard of some chi kung practices where monks used lead weights while running and also to increase jumping height and leg power.
DO THEY WORK? CAN THEY CAUSE INJURY? OPINIONS? FACTS?
