We take taekwondo now, but we are interested in learning how to train as far as being flexible to be able to do chloe bruce's scorpion kick. Does she do any other flexibility classes so she can bend her legs like that? If so, does anybody know her routine? Because me & my roommate are real big into flexibility and we want to be as flexible as possible, not necessarily to be able to just do her kick. We wanna be flexible in all aspects of the word. Any help is greatly appreciated. Trey & Jim.

chloe's webpage
The kick she is famous for, like you know, is the scorpion kick. Anyway, I have included her webpage, she has some videos with the scorpion kick in it. You can view and see what I am talking about there. Here is her site name: www.chloebruce.co.uk.

dude that was the most useless kick I had ever seen. Well right next to the flash kick. first of all why would you want to learn this. Perhaps if you were in forms competition but other than that it sucks. If you really want more flexibility I like to read this article. It's pretty good if you ask me. stretching Just don't hurt yourself dude. That looks painful to me.

Well, now granted to you, it may be useless, but to me I like the way it looks, I mean how many people can do a kick like that? That is like taking your leg, ripping it off, turning it around and screwing it back on and kicking behind you. And I'm not going to try anything unless I can find out what her routines were to get her to be able to do that. Anyway, like I was saying, if you think it is useless, that is fine with me, everyone has their own opinions but to me the kick is awesome and looks very difficult. But if anyone knows her routine please let me know. Thanks in advance. Jim.

there is a great book (and video) by a guy called thomas kurtz (i think)
basically it is a book of all differnt stretches eg dynamic stretching, isotomic, etc. it has some great stretches for the legs to.

Her site said that she trained in tang soon do(spelling?) for 12 years. Plus she took gymnastics. So chances are she gained that flexibility over a long period of time. But mabye there is still some sorta quick results program you can use? Perhaps you should just jump into the air an do a side split. Yea an after a sore month or so you should have enough flexibilty to begin training for that kick.
