If you are eating 1-3 eggs per day then I wouldn't worry too much about the fat or cholesterol contents having much effect on your health. However, I do believe that most of the fat is found in the yellow egg yolk. This is why some prefer not eating the yolk at all. Again, I don't think eating the yolk is a big deal if you are consuming a limited amount of eggs per day. As for cholesterol, there's lots of it in eggs but recent studies have shown that there is another ingredient in eggs (can't remember the name) that keeps it from affected your body's actual cholesterol levels. Again, this holds true if you eat eggs in limited quantities. The moral of the story is as usual: almost everything is ok to eat as long as you limit yourself. Moderation is key in your diet as well as your exercise. My 2 cents!

Boiling is the easiest way to cook an egg without adding any fat, like you would with frying. Even using an oil substitute like a cooking spray (PAM) you're adding a certain amount of fat and other chemicals you don't need in your body.
For variety you might want to try cooking eggs by poaching (cooking with steam), or dropping egg whites into simmering soup.
I've also heard that roasting eggs produces the same results as boiling but is considerably more trouble.

NONE of the 27 long term tightly controlled CLINICAL TRIALS since 1963 examining the relationship between saturates and CHD, NONE support the cholesterol theory. NONE
NO RANDOMIZED TIGHTLY CONTROLLED CLINICAL TRIAL HAS
HAS EVER, EVER SHOWN ANY REDUCTION IN CHD mortality that can be attributed to saturated fat restriction or cholesterol lowering.
ALL THE EVIDENCE NEEDED TO THOROUGHLY DEBUNK THE CHOLESTEROL THEORY/SCAM HAS BEEN IN MEDICAL JOURNALS FOR DECADES AVAILABLE TO ANYONE WHO CARES TO READ.
THE PROBLEM IS JANE AVERAGE DOES NOT RUMMAGE THROUGH MEDICAL JOURNALS AND RELIES ON MEDIA PROPOGANDA FOR HEALTH INFORMATION
THE FRAMINGHAM CHOLESTEROL RESEARCH WAS THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE EVER DONE AND IT BACKFIRED IN THE AHA'S FACE SO THEY LIED ABOUT THE RESULTS TO FIT THEIR OWN AGENDA www.ravnskov.nu/myth8.htm
HERE IS THE DIRECT LINK TO THE REAL RESULTS OF THE FRAMINGHAM RESEARCH DIRECTLY FROM JAMA WRITTEN BY DR. WILLIAM CASTELLI HIMSELF THE DIRECTOR OF THE FRAMINGHAM RESRACH
From 1951 to 1955 serum cholesterol levels were measured in 1959 men and 2415 women aged between 31 and 65 years who were free of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and cancer. Under age 50 years, cholesterol levels are directly related with 30-year overall and CVD mortality; overall death increases 5% an …
VERY VERY VERY DAMNING EVIDENCE TO THE AHA'S NONSENSE PROPOGANDA
Eat the WHOLE EGG
It is a terrific food for HUMANS. Never stuff yourself. and percentage wise saturate rich, but PORTION wise regular. Too many calories at one time or throughout the day can be hard on the heart. (stuffing)
I have said this billions of times.
Masai
Dinkas
Samburu
Okinawans
Tokeluans (Pacific Islands)
French
Crete
Inuits
ALL eat a diet RICH IN SATURATES ALL have a VERY low rate of CHD.
The MOST glaring embarrassment for the AHA is the French who eat the most saturates OUT OF AN ALREADY SATURATE RICH MEDITERRANENAN DIET ( MEDITERRANEAN DIET IS RICH IN SATURATES) THE FRENCH HAVE THE LOWEST RATE OF CHD IN THE ENTIRE MEDITERRANEAN, with the area in France that consumes the most percentage from animal fats having the LOWEST IN FRANCE. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPS!
EGGS ARE GOOD FOR YOU. REMOVING THE YOLK REMOVES ALL THE NUTRIENTS Persons removing yolks are ONLY lucidly demonstrating what brainwashed dolts they have become. It's a shame because they are the victims of the NONSENSE PROPOGANDA not backed by any science.

Just saw a cute li'l thing on tv - A day in the life of Andre Orlovski. You know Andre, the heavyweight MMA champion who wears a custom mouthguard with fangs? His usual breakfast consists of a steak and an omelet. The omelet? 14 egg whites and two egg yolks.
Hmmm.

There is NO SCIENTIFIC BASIS behind having egg white NONE. ZERO. He might like the taste. Read the 27 CLINICAL TRIALS IN FULL TEXT Read the medical journals.
THE AHA DOES NOT HAVE EVEN ONE TIGHTLY CONTROLLED CLINICAL TRIAL THAT IS SUPPORTIVE OF THEIR "PET THEORY",
none of the 27 tightly controlled clinical trials that have been done since 1963, none support the cholesterol theory.
HUMANS HAVE EATEN EGGS FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS WITH GREAT BENEFIT.

relax
man, Juan relax I know this is your opinion and Im not disagreeing with you, I dont know the details about it, but you should take it down a level. Stop with the caps lock and bold and I bet more people will actually consider your opinion. Right now I have the urge to bypass your posts because due to the way your writing them they look like some crap youd see in some spam email.

Ok, I'll go along with your insistance that there is no proven link between egg yolks and high cholesterol. However, lets look at some facts, shall we?
Whether or not egg yolks impact the cholesterol levels in the body, they are proven to have the following nutritional values:
Monosaturated fat: 2.0
Saturated fat: 1.6
Total Fat: 4.51
Cholesterol: 210 (whether or not it impacts humans, it is still there)
Calories: 55
I eat 8 egg whites and two whole eggs for breakfast to get the amount of protein I need for my current eating habits. Why not 10 full eggs? Because I don't want to be taking in 45 grams of fat in my first meal of the day, just to get the same amount of protein. Plus, it would mean I would have to completely cut another meal out of my day, because I would be taking in 440 more calories just to eat the yolks. Egg whites are called the mother of all protein, trailed by milk. If you are eating eggs for the protein, eat mostly egg whites. A few whole eggs are fine, but everything in moderation - do you really want to be taking in 750% of your recommended daily value in cholesterol? Whether or not it is proven that it affects you, two facts remain - it has most definitly not been disproven, and you are still taking in the cholesterol - that does not change.

Cholesterol DOES NOT cause atherosclerosis. More importantly to respond to your post
DIETARY CHOLESTEROL INTAKE HAS NO BEARING ON CHOLESTEROL LEVELS. ANCEL KEYS, the founder of the cholesterol theory, which is untennable as pertains to OMNIVOROUS HUAMNS EVEN ADMITS THIS. READ THIS STATEMENT CAREFULLY.
DIETARY INTAKE OF CHOLESTEROL HAS NO BEARING ON CHOLESTEROL LEVELS. READ THESE TWO LINKS CAREFULLY https://www.homodiet.netfirms.com/ot...t_disease1.htm
AGAIN CAREFULLY READ
"There is NO CONNECTION whatsoever between cholesterol in food and cholesterol in blood. And we've known that all along." in HUMANS, which is the OMNIVOROUS SPECIES WE ARE TALKING BAOUT.
The untenable cholesterol theory as it pertains to humans, was founded on the JUNK SCIENCE of feeding VEGETARIAN ANIMALS something they DID NOT evolve to process.
P.S. Cholesterol is an ALCOHOL, NOT a fat. www.ravnskov.nu/cholesterol.htm
