  • increase speed?

    any excercises or drills that help with speed?
    for both attack speed and movement speed.
    are there any specific drills that help with speed, or should you just practice movement and attack a lot of times?

    On how to improve your speed, a lot of it depends on your genetic makeup and how you've developed / maintained your physique to this point.

    But generally speaking I find various exercises such as skipping, dancing or sports that require hand eye coordination and footwork will help condition the muscles which should make you lighter on your feet and improve reflex action. Maintaining flexibility is also important...

    But most of all, if you are not really familiar with a certain movement or action then your body will not be conditioned to move along those lines. Practicing certain patterns of motion will develop muscle memory and coordination which will allow you to move quicker along trained patterns or variations of practiced lines if needed.

    Also, proper relaxation is also important as too much tension can reduce speed.

    I would also do some research on "Fast and Slow Twitch Muscle Fibers"
