Jesus Christ, not all this again. Look, to all people who want opinions on their physique, UNLESS YOU ARE LITERALLY STRONG AND MUSCULAR, YOU'RE GOING TO GET RAT ON BY OTHERS SO STOP WITH THE STUPID PICTURES. And for god's sake, don't post, "What do you guys think of my physique," and then write something like, "BTW, my arms aren't as small as they appear, it is the light in the background..." IT COMMON SENSE THEN THAT PEOPLE ARE GOING TO RAT ON YOU AT THAT POINT If you want to know what people think of your physique, go to the beach, if you are built well, women will compliment you. Or just go to the gym and compare yourself with the guys who are built the way you wanna be built.

I have a feeling this is the same guy as last time (he was a Bruce Lee fan too), if it is, I am not dishing your physique cuz I just am not that type, but I am dishing your common sense! At least choose a name that can hide who you are better!

That's funny, I had the same feeling..........My advice to you: go to spar in a boxing/muay thai gym, you will see that how your body looks is not important at all. That is, if you are interested in MA of course.

btw ur " physique" isnt crackin bro. u are skinny as ****, and thats coming from a slender guy. u dont look like u workout one bit. u look like u are anorexic. u look like u need food badly, and thats not me being a dick, thats just me being honest. ur biceps are what, 6 mabye 7 inches? also ur abdominals look like they are only showing because u are so skinny, not because u have put hardwork into them. keep doing ur weightless only workouts if u want to look just like this guy, but if u want big broad shoulders, built arms, a huge back, and a more filled out look, then lift some weights and eat some food.

Does it say Deluxe Bodybuilding Forum on top? Nope, it says it's a martial arts forum. Of course you're gonna get ragged on for being a dooshbag and posting up pix of your physique

hey u were the one who asked for comments on ur physique, i was just answering u. im sorry if u didnt like my comments, but thats my opinion. u dont look built, and u dont really look like u workout, u just look like u are very skinny and thats about it. im not trying to be a dick, im just telling u my opinion of what i saw in those photos. ur abs look like they are showing because u are starving, not because u have put work into them. i myself am a slender guy, but even im more built than that.u look like a twig bro. what exactly did u work hard at? u were obviously a skinny guy to begin with, so its not like u were really heavy and lost all that weight, u were just skinny and now ur still skinny. but hey, thats just my opinion, and if u are happy with ur results then it really shouldnt matter what anyone else thinks.

Don't dish "weightless" workouts if you mean calisthenics, a weightless workout is something like running on a treadmill. Decent calisthenics exercises look planche pushups, handstnad pushups, pullups, dips, etc....will provide plenty of resistance for the body to build decent muscle. And you can always use a weight belt to increase the weight for your pullups and dips. For legs and lower back though, use weights like barbells and such.

Now if the only calisthenics you do are the traditional old pushup and situps, then yeah, you'll stay weak pretty much.

Yeah, in a Thai boxing gym, it means nothing of how you look, I have heard of Marines who spar with 15 and 16 year-old Thai boxers and come out limping. Also, I read that when the South African kung fu team came up to China to spar against one of the Shaolin Temple sparring teams (one of the temples anyways), they were all heavily-muscled while the Chinese fighters were very skinny, yet the Chinese still kicked butt.

And Little Dragon, you responded EXACTLY the way Ajay did, so I think it is you, no two different people join a board and respond EXACTLY in the same manner as each other.

And also, if you really are a different guy, I wasn't dissing your physique, I was saying you lack common sense to come in here and show pics of your physique and not expect to get dissed on. You think at a site like this, you're going to get supportive comments??

In case you haven't caught on, MEN DO NOT DO THINGS LIKE POSTING PICS OF THEMSELVES AND ASKING OTHER GUYS WHAT THEY THINK OF THEM. That's just how the culture is. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A BODYBUILDING WEBSITE, and even there, you might get told you are thinly muscled. If you're in a locker room and see a guy built really great, and you admire him for his physique, NO GUY turns around and says, "Damn man, I love your legs and abs," etc.....GET IT??? WOMEN DO THAT. If women are in a locker room, they can say stuff like, "God, I wish I had your legs," to another woman and it's okay. If a guy turns to another guy and says, "God, I wish I had your legs," the other guy recieving the compliment is gonna think "WTF!?" Even if you say something like, "You have really good leg muscle development," or something, even if you mean it as a compliment purely, many guys still will think, "Is he eyeing me.....?" it depends, in hardcore bodybuilding areas, probably not, but at non-bodybuilding websites and areas, yeah.

So I mean coming onto a forum like this one of all places, and posting pics of yourself, when you're skinny especially, you're gonna get rat on.

You think people are just gonna say, "Well man, keep working at it, build up more muscle, you look good, etc...." you DO look like your abs only show cuz you're so thin, GET SOME MORE MUSCLE and then keep that same metabolism and you'll have an awesome chiseled physique. But your pecs are non-existent and your arms are pencils; I know that sounds fricking harsh, but you asked what people think of your physique, WELL THAT'S WHAT I THINK.

Also, don't be such an ass like the other guy (though I think you're the same guy), he responded the same way, he gets dissed some, and immediately he is some hard-working martial artist and everyone else at this site are a bunch of fatsoes and "fuckheads" who know nothing about training (nevermind he seemed to know nothing about how muscle worked since according to him lots of muscle slows you down).

weightless workouts have their place, i just wouldnt reccomend them to people who are weak and small and want to gain mass. running on a treadmill is cool ,but it aint gonna get u mass. handstand pushups, pullups, and dips are great too, but too bad most people who arent already in great shape and built usually wont have the strength to even do these, so no they arent usefull to someone who is weak and small and wants to build muscle. just look at that one guy who posted saying how he didnt have the strength to be able to do handstand pushups properly. weightless workouts should be done in addition to weights to make u more cut, but weightless alone isnt enough, unless u are already built and have the strength, experience and knowledge to make it work for you. by looking at little dragons pics, weightless workouts is the last thing he needs.

as for using a weight belt, well thats not exactly weightless now is it?

Not true fully, if you want STRENGTH, calisthenics is fine. Good calisthenics provide tremendous resistance, which you can increase by hooking on a weight. A pullup is far better then any weight-training exercise for the back. It is far more functional.

If you want MASS; otherwise, with the exception of the legs and lower back, weight training exercises should be done in addition to calisthenic exercises. Weights will never give you te kind of functional strength that handstand pushups, pullups, dips, rope climbing, hanging leg raises, etc....will. And remember you can always add weight to increase the resistance on these exercises with a weight belt. If handstand pushups become too easy for you, you will have a crapload of shoulder strength in your shoulders already, if you want to go really big on the shoulders, then you have to use like a barbell that weighs more then your own body.

And although Hindu squats are good for the legs, barbell squats, hamstring curls, and like for the lower back, the deadlift, those weight-training exercises calisthenics can't really cover.

But for a very strong upper-body, weights alone are not good for that. They won't give functional strength in the same way. They'll just give size.

Bottom line, for upper-body STRENGTH, calisthenics (aided by a weight belt if you want more resistance) provide far better strength then weight training. For lower body and lower back, weights and weight machines as the best.

If all you do is weights, your body becomes accustomed to the weights; if you do the calisthenics, your body becomes accustomed to those, but at the same time gains the strength that would allow said person to go and weight lift pretty well too.

u totally missed the point of what i was sayin. people who arent strong and built already for the most part arent even gonna be able to do pullups, handstand pushups, and whatnot, so its really no use to them. if ur already built and strong, then adding those kinda exercises to ur workout is great.
