Try out the Air Alert 3 Program, it's done wonders for me so far and many other people have had excellent results with it, averaging out at about almost 10" gained in height.

i just started air alert 3 today...i was just wondering, do you still work out your legs at the gym or do you use this as a substitute for that too?

If you still want to, I'd do it real lightly as you're trying to build explosive strength and doing additional weight training might inhibit it. I'm just doing AA3 and bodyweight squats for my workouts right now.

Jumpsoles, or sky shoes work really well. Also look into plyometrics they can do wonders.

AA3 basically is plyometrics, that's why I don't suggest combining a lot of weight training with them as some studies have shown its a good way to start overtraining, and considering you're doing plyos 3x a week on this program, any more than one or two light weight sessions would affect you.

i'm not sure if i'm doing some of the exercises right...leap ups are pretty self explanatory (except I can only do 10 reps right now), but what exactly is the diff. btw. thrust ups and burn outs, they seem to be the same thing only that you do the reps differently, and i could also use some advice on the squat hops, i don't think i'm doing them right.

darkrelevance you dont need to buy any of that stuff and do weights to get an increased vertical jump. I'm a state u/18 volleyball player and all we do to work on our vertical jump is lunges both in the hall and in sand, step downs, sprints in the hall and sand to build explosive leg power and just practicing jumping a lot. Doing weights will help a bit by building the leg muscles but you won't be building explosive power because the reps are so slow in comparison to sprint and training by actually jumping which is specific to the actual jumping act itself.

I was talkin bout them jump shoe things, they sorta seem like a waste of money when even normal people can build up to a like 50cm vert. leap just exercising with their body.

btw, my vert. leap is 73cm which is like 28.5 inches, not the best but better than most spike jump(two step run up) is 88cm though, 34.3 inches apparently.
