Ok, i've managed to do virtually all self weight excercises; only ones are balancing hand stand push ups and V Sits, whereas i simply know how to train for the balancing hand stand push ups. I'm not too sure for V Sits- the ones where only your hands are touching like two chairs or something and your legs go up at a near vertical straight line, i can get my legs to just past a horizontal level but further than that just seems impossible. On a chip up bar touching my head to the bar so its not the rocking motion that pulls my legs up- i manage to bring my legs to my elbows in a straight line. So i'm thinking maybe its not so much the muscle side, Any help on perhaps the way to train for it or the better way of having the palms placed or something. The reason why i stop at just past a horizontal level is because my palms are rocking backwards... Anyone?

Lay on your back with your arms stretched over your head and your legs straight out. Raise up your hips and legs like you're doing leg lifts but also bend forward and try to touch your toes at the same time, hence the V partHere's an online demo:

Woa, I've always thought v-sits were those Bruce Lee performed standing on his hands only.
When I try those I feel my quadriceps ache after 5 seconds, like if they were doing all the work...Maybe it's because I have never trained them with standard V-sits reps??
