yeah...that's what I meant when I referred to flutter kicks. Do you think V-sits would be better??

My body fat is at about 11%, but I had it checked with callipers...not the immersion technique, so...it could be anywhere between 12 and 10...who knows.
Do you think if I up my cardio, it'll up the definition???
If so...it's miles for me tommorow.

Yes, enough and regular cerdio activity will burn fats and help you to achieve definition.
And of course you have to eat the right foods too.

Most definitely. Start running, my friend Sprints will burn off more fat so you don't need to run miles, just do a bunch of sprints.

There was a Muscle Media article a few years back (sadly that magazine is gone now ) that was called Guerilla Cardio II (there was a Guerilla Cardio I even farther back). Both are very cool in telling how to gain speed in your sprints AND endurance simultaneously.

I can't believe that magazine died out. The one damn magazine devoted to TRUE fitness it seems, all aspects, martial arts, wrestling, bodybuilding, strength training, keeping yourself healthy, healthy ways to eat (got some good protein shake recipies and nutritional info from MM too.....MM is also where I learned about Pavel), etc......and it died out.

You'd think people would read a good fitness mag, but I guess they only like crappy fitness mags.

Martialartsmad, I think you just have to find someone with the articles (like koto) and wait until they copy them or something, unless you can convince the company to personally print you a copy or something, but otherwise the magazine is out of print I believe.

                  situps

ive only read the first couple of posts on this convo so if someone has already sed this sorry. basically ive been training to be a personal trainer with premier global training now for 1 month and have been studying what effects various exercises have on your body and effects of bad form in exercise.
Well it turns out situps/crunches are bad for you (they gradually damage the lumbar). They are not a relevent exercise to everyday life or sports. the core is there to support the body and over working the core muscles mainly rectus abdominious screws up your stabalisation. The muscles you want to work are your internal core muscles (try doin planks, side planks or deadbugs)
that makes for a much stronger core if sporting performance is what you want. If you jus want a six pack do whatever......having a six pack means jack unless your a bodybuilder. The reason some people have six packs easily is because its genetic. To build muscle effectivly you need to be in the hypertrophy range which is 8-12 reps so doin situps i donno maybe 100 is endurance an not muscle building. to have a steriotypical six pack you either need genetics or a body fat in the single digit range....Is it worth it? but this is only my opinion and the opinion of premier global training if you dont think it is a reliable source check out the site www.premierglobal.co.uk its legit check it out make your own opinion

I would also add some frog-kicks at end the ab work; or of the whole workout, as they relax and stretch your lower back.

I don't have cut abs, yet, but I was a fatboy before I started training to box. I hope to be cut like a mofo because I hate looking flabby in trunks.
