  • An Expose Of The Cholesterol Scam

The Framingham research backfired in the AHA'S face and proved the OPPOSITE of what the AHA intended to prove. So the AHA made up a false statement regarding the Framingham research results

Here is a DIRECT link to the actual paper of the Framingham REAL RESEARCH RESULTS written by the director Dr William Castelli himself.

From 1951 to 1955 serum cholesterol levels were measured in 1959 men and 2415 women aged between 31 and 65 years who were free of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and cancer. Under age 50 years, cholesterol levels are directly related with 30-year overall and CVD mortality; overall death increases 5% an …

Thanks for posting this. I sent it to a friend of mine, and he said these studies looked old and sent me a bunch of links describing how high cholesterol is bad for you. He said his were more recent. I tried to tell him that his were just rehashed aticles, and yours were actually medical research documents. but it is easier to just believe whatever your doc tells you I guess.

His articles were from webmed and cholesterol faq. It'd be interested to research which of these get funding from the AHA. I was doing research on Bayer for a long time and found that they donate the big bucks to the AHA, which may be why the AHA recommends only Bayer aspirin.

I wonder if there are any studies that actually conclusively indicate that cholesterol relates directly to mortality rates from coronary heart disease...

Thank you for also exposing the cholesterol scam It will never end until persons are PRO ACTIVE

Directly from the New England Journal Of Medicine

"Atherosclerosis regressed in patients with the greatest reduction in CRP levels, BUT NOT in those with the greatest reduction in LDL cholesterol levels."

Another quote from the New England Journal Of Medicine

Patients who have low CRP levels after statin therapy have better clinical outcomes than patients with higher CRP levels, REGARDLESS of the resultant level of LDL cholesterol" - www.jpands.or/vol10no3/colpo.pdf

Statins do lower cholesterol but this is NOT the reason they can be SLIGHTLY beneficial in ONLY PERSONS WITH ACTIVE HEART DISEASE. The MECHANISM in which they can be slightly beneficial in THOSE persons with active heart disease is by SLIGHT ANTI INFLAMATION PROPERTIES as shown in the New England Journal Of Medicine. The overall statistics though are HARDLY IMPRESSIVE AT ALL. Dr Ravsnkov has the these statistics refferenced on his site www.ravnskov.nu

Book reviews and recommendations, Ebook reviews, App reviews, News and Gossip, Competitions

All the evidence needed to THOROUGHLY DEBUNK the cholesterol theory/scam has been available in medical journals for decades for all to read. The problem is Jane Average does not rummage through medical journals.

Jane Average relies on unscientific media PROPOGANDA from cholesterol drug manufacturers.

9 out of 10 members of the National Cholesterol Education Program have DIRECT FINANCAL TIES to the Pharmecutical Company that manufactures statins and the recommendations get lower and lower and lower every 5 years

.www.theomnivore.com/sat-fat-chol-CHD.html VERY DETAILED CITED CLINICAL TRIAL RESEARCH

50% of persons who have had heart attacks had normal to LOW levels of LDL cholesterol.

Tokelauans of the Pacific Islands 240 ml blood serum cholesterol levels , they are virtually free of CHD.

Tell your friend to cite clinical trials NOT news media with no cited references of clinical trials from medical journals . Also epidemiological studies are also not reliable as are CLINICAL TRIALS

22 of 23 clinical trials are NON SUPPORTIVE of the cholesterol theory that was wrong from the beginning. The atherosclerotic plaque is COMPRISED OF FIBEROUS SCAR TISSUE, CALCIUM DEPOSTS AND SMOOTH MUSCLE CELLS. Cholesterol is an alcohol NOT a fat. Cholesterol and fats make up very little of the plaque.

Lowering LDL can not regress SCAR TISSUE,(AND SCAR TISSUE IS WHAT THE ATHEROSCLEROTIC PLAQUE IS COMPRISED of ) B]ONLY LOWERING CRP CAN[/B]. CRP stands for C reactive protein. If there is INFLAMATION in the arteries THAT is what matters. THAT is what causes atherosclerosis.

INFLAMATION IN THE ARTERIAL WALL IS WHAT CAUSED THE BUILDUP OF SCAR TISSUE SMOOTH MUSCLE CELLS AND CALCIUM DEPOSITS.

ELEVATED C REACTIVE PROTEIN AND ESPECIALLY HOMOCYSTEINE MEANS ARTERIAL INFLAMATION IN THE FUTURE OVER TIME. HUGE RISK.

HERE IS EVEN MORE RESEARCH FROM THE JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION AND LANCET THAT WAS BLATANTLY IGNORED AND NOT GIVEN AND PUBLICITY BY THE CHOLESTEROL PROPOGANDA PROPOGATORS

Yeah it is pretty odd how they keep doing drug-company sponsored studies but none of them have clinical trials to support them...

I did a bunch of research on Baycol when I was volunteering at Corporate Watch UK and these drugs are really awful...

            Baycol Deaths[247]
Bayer's anti-cholesterol drug, Baycol (also known as Lipobay and cerivastatin), has deadly side effects. The Food and Drug Administration received reports of 31 US deaths due to rhadomolysis, a potentially fatal adverse muscle reaction that results in muscle cell breakdown and release of the contents of muscle cells in the bloodstream. Symptoms include muscle pain, weakness, fever, nausea, and vomiting. Bayer admitted that the drug might have killed 52 people already worldwide, with another 1,100 potentially crippled. Although Bayer voluntarily recalled the drug after a large number of deaths, Germany's health minister, on 25 August 2001, accused Bayer of sitting on research documenting Baycol's lethal side-effects for nearly two months before the government in Berlin was informed.' Writing about the recall, the trade journal Chemistry and Industry stated, "The ensuing discussion over the drug safety and manufacturer's perceived willingness to overlook risks could damage the reputation of the industry at large." There have been many individual and class action law suits, including one in Pennsylvania which cited 480 cases of Baycol-related illnesses. At the time of editing (20.01.02) the number of Baycol related deaths has risen to almost 100.[248]
