Well, two weeks ago me and my friend were trading hits, and on about the fourth round I hit him pretty hard, but the main force of the impact was applied to the weaker two knuckles. It hurt like hell, the knuckles got bruised, and the area behind my pinky is swollen a little. I only hurts sometimes, but I'm worried about the swelling. I know it's not broken, but could I have like, misaligned it or soemething? I would rather leave the doctor out of this. Oh yeah, and last time I posted a topic about a hurt shoulder, and I'm sure you'll all be glad to hear it's as good as new...

How do you know it's not broken? Without an X-ray there is a little test you can do to see if it's fractured. Tap the end of your little finger. Is it painful? Tap on your wrist. Tap on each knuckle and joint... You might need to rest your finger on something solid and bend your wrist so the tap with your fingertips is in the direction of the bone you're testing. If there is significant pain it is probably broken...The idea of the test is simple enough. If the tapping on the joints or bones on each side of a suspected fracture cause pain it means the bone is likely to be fractured. It doesn't always work but severe swelling is also a sign of possible fracture.
I'm not a doctor so don't take my word for anything.

The test is less reliable after the swelling occurs. It's been two weeks already. The tissue swelling around the bones isolate movement and vibration to protect the injury as well as cause pain if you jolt or bump it to keep you from moving it while it heals. Those small bones in your hand fracture easily enough, it doesn't seem severe by your description but I still suspect it is a simple fracture. Better to get a professional diagnosis than advise here! It might be healing out of position? That could cause a permanent deformation of your hand!

a little late responding, but i'll get my two cents in.
usually just ice it and make sure you wrap your hands, might need to go to a 170 or 180 hand wrap for the extra protection. Try and stay with light strikes for a while. Maybe even use those gel gloves for a while.
