  • Flexibility and training

Ok I have some serious issues with my body and would appreciate some opinions and training ideas

First of all my knees are always sore and I am young!
my body especially my shoulders and neck are always always tense!
when I stretch I do it unproperly and pull muscles.

I am aspiring to be a great martial artist but at this rate my confidence is pretty damn low....

any ideas for strengthening the knees without hurting them, how to do proper stretches ( which I just can't do even thougth I am pretty flexible).

    building my flexibility

ideas for strengthening the whole body

I am sick of being in pain, can anybody help?

    lots of thanks

if ur knees have been hurting for a long time u shud see a doctor... might be something wrong. also if ur streching and pulling ur muscles, that means ur doing too intensely and shud lighten up. depending how much time u have, u shud spend about more than half of it like stretching and light technique work. this may seem stupid when ur doing it, but basic in becoming a martial artist is having good condioned body and technique. after tat streching, u can continue with more technique stuff or do some stengh things

but if ur knees hurt and stuff like that, u might wanna see a doctor

Don't push too hard too fast!

You should definitely see your physician about that. If you're starting in adolescence and are a male then there's a chance that you might have a condition called Osgood Schlatter's which does cause pain in the knees. Though I would urge you go see a doctor about it, because only they can know what is going on.

Time. You'll grow up and things will set in the right place in your body. Don't intentionally injure yourself
