  • Open Question: Will I lose weight by doing this?

    I'm planning to loose at least 50 pounds by September, but I can only loose 1 pound a week. Any way i'm only eating three meals a day, and i have one snack a day which is when i come home from school, and is normally a banana or some grapes. My meals are healthy, for lunch i will have a very small bun with cheese in it, an maybe a muller yogurt or hand full of grapes (20), and sometimes a innocent fruit smoothie. break-fast varies, i will either have 2 slices of toast with low fat butter, or 1 toast with scrabbled egg. And dinner is what ever my mum cooks,today i'm having spinach and pasta.sometimes i walk to and from school, or just from school,which is probably a 20-40 minute walk. and also i use a fitness dvd but i can never finish it, my heart beat raises which is good, but my legs get really tired. i normally do 10-15 minutes of it.also i have a muffin every friday or even a chocolate bar, and on saturdays i might have some chips ad fried chicken.if i continue to eat like this will i look like this by september or will it take longer to be that slim?http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/children/oldergirls/2/1

    Unless you improve you diet, you will not lose a pound. increase your cardio and decrease you calorie intake. no cheese buns, and go light on the pasta

      Yeah I'd have to agree with Prokarateshop, your diet sucks! You have bread almost if not every meal, that will keep the pounds on. Pasta will KEEP the pounds on! Keep that to a minimum while trying to lose. FRIED CHICKEN.. are you serious, to lose weight? You really need to clean up your diet, eat small GOOD meals every 2-3 hours. 20-30 min. of cardio and add some weight training, building muscle burns fat! If I'm not mistaken you just had a baby, if you're active, that weight will come off but not if you eat the way you explained, Good luck, work hard and it will.

        Eat more often, 6 to 8 times per day. Small meals. 3 or 4 of these meals can be a good whey protein. Figure out how many calories you burn in a day and consume 300 cal less. Diet should be 55% protein, 30% carbs and 15% fats, mostly omegas. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day. Exercise.

          Unless you leave banana you cann't and also unless you control your meals as well. You need to diet more. Go to a gym and be regular there and also follow diets articles and shows as well. If you are really desperate to less your weight than you really have to maintain everything in a routine as well. you less your weight and its totally up to you cause everything is in your control you have to decide are you going to follow the things are you going to diet etc.

            reducing the number of meal is not at all of any help. chances are, you'll find yourself craving for more foods. try to eat several times with less fat but of lesser content.. that way, something will be differently good for the diet.
