  • Parrying exercises and shadow boxing

Does anyone know of any parrying exercises I could do to help to speed up my reaction time? I would prefer exercises that I can do alone, but if there are some with a partner I would also like to know.

I've also heard the shadow boxing is a great form of exercise to improve fighting.
however I don't know what to focus on when I'm doing this. Any suggestions from what you guys do when you shadow box?

shadow boxing is a good way to warm up. All your doing is working on your combination.

working parries without a training partner, i'd suggest using a double end ball. That'll help out some. But your better off having someone through punches at you and then parry and counter.

Partner exercises are great, and definitely switch partners. that way you can learn different body movements
