I wouldn't neccessarily say eat less, eating mroe keeps that metabolism up (statistics show that in actuality, people who eat less tend to be overweight!). I'd say eat more (but eat healthy!!!!!), work hard (with plenty of sleep!), and most importantly, enjoy what you do so you do it longer!

try and get your eight hours sleep

fat is basically energy for low intensity workouts such as walking of lifting weights. The main thing is to set days to work out and stick to it. Start with 3 days a week, then work your way up to 5 and 6 days.

Yes, you're right. frequent meals and HEALTHY snacks can benifit your diet but lets face it, most of us simply OVER EAT! We indulge in HUGE portions! Esp. if we skip breakfast or lunch or BOTH trying to lose weight!

Kill SUGAR and you'll be better off...

          Work harder! LIVE LONGER!

I would say,cut your calories down to 2000, lots of protein.. 30 minutes of cardio a day.. And weight training 3 times a day..

frankly you'll need to see someone so they can recommend the exercises and diet for adding bulk and loosing fat.

                          1. Sufficient Sleep - As has already been mentioned, sufficient sleep is extremely important because that is when your body recovers from the stress of your physical activity. Sleep deficiency will make you more prone to injury.

                          2. Take measurements. You will need measurements in order to access your progress. Measure the things that are most important to you. (body fat, weight, dimensions of your chest, waist, hips, thighs, biceps) Measure every four to five weeks. Set goals. Report your progress to someone.

                          3. Proper nutrition – There are lots of different ideas about what constitutes “proper” nutrition. At a basic level, you will want to take in fewer calories than you burn. However, you do need to take in sufficient calories for your body to function. Someone mentioned 2000 cal/day. You can certainly be more sophisticated in estimating that number, but 2000 cal/day is pretty standard. If you want to burn fat, you will need to build muscle (because muscle burns fat). In order to build muscle, it is helpful to increase your protein intake. There are lots of different ideas about how best to increase your protein intake. Personally, I like using whey protein.

                          4. Drinks lots of water. Don’t drink soda or crap like that. You are also better off avoiding alcohol and coffee.

                          5. Exercise/Physical Activity. You will need to do something to build your muscles and improve your cardio vascular system. I make a distinction between exercise and physical activity, but it is not particularly important. In my mind exercise is an activity you do to make some specific kind of improvement (like building muscle), while physical activity is some kind of motion you do for fun. Ideally, you will do both. Whatever you do, it should be something you enjoy. It might help to have a buddy you work out with.

                          6. Listen to your body and train today so that you can train tomorrow. (Be smart with your training.)

                          7. If you are morbidly obese, you might benefit from checking in with your physician and getting a physical.

                          8. If you smoke, stop. If you do drugs, stop.

If you drink alcohol...give yourself 1 month of...not only will this reduce the intake of "nothing" calories...but it will have a knock-on effect that you are less likely to eat junk food, miss sleep, miss the gym etc
