          I am having the opposite problem. I have increased my calories intake, working out regularly and getting plenty of rest. I cannot put on weight not even a pound. Help

            Lean muscle mass requires an over abundance of protein. You also need to cut out the artificial sweeteners, caffeine, alcohols. Protein intake in conjunction with a rigorous workout routine designed to stimulate muscle growth should be at least 1 gram per desired weight/pounds, ie. If I wanted to weigh 160 pounds, I would need to assimilate 160 grams of protein in my diet per day.( 6 to eight small meals), Graze don’t gorge. You also need to balance your diet and eat complex carbs. Foods in their purest forms are better than processed foods. You really need a basic understanding of amino acids, google and read. Educations takes patience and time, but until you have a basic understanding of how to best fuel your machine, stay away from supplements. Supplements’ are a great way to maximize your best efforts, but not designed to be a quick fix. In order for them to work, you need to be doing things right. Nutrition for dummies is a book I recommend, easy read and full of awesome Information on how to get the maximum results for your effort. Don’t get caught up in the numbers game, it’s not quantity food, or calories, it’s about the quality and chemical makeup of what you ingest in conjunction with your metabolic rate. Keep a food intake journal and get a calorie counter that breaks down your intake into nutritional values. Read labels and compare foods, you need to make the best choices every time.               I think its important to understand that when you are overweight, you have to think first about losing weight before thinking about building muscle. Take things one step at a time. First lose weight, do about 45 minutes of cardio every day, eat healthy and eat light in the evening. After you get to your normal weigth then you can start thinking about building muscle. That's how I did it.

                live ur life in a regular routine. follow a diet control, work hard, remove ur tension, eat healthy good not junk food, do ur regular exercise,, have a sound sleep..

                  To lose weight, diet alone will not work. The best way to lose weight is to eat a healthy low-carb diet and exercise regularly. The best exercise is cardio like running, biking and swimming. I would recommend doing cardio about 4-5 times a week and eating healthy. As far as bulking up, you need to do more weights and take in more protein.

                      It does't matter how much we eat,matters is what we eat.I eat small meal but healthy once,i don't rely on quantity i prefer quality.And with some physical work out like gym or personal training session.
