  • Do you guys ever get lazy to train ?

I dunno, i`m getting scared now, I love the art i`m currently in, my school may not be popular. But I am getting lazy by the moment; of going there, and waking up. yesterday I was suppose to be there but I decided to sleep in because i was so tired.

But my main question is, what brings back your motivation/ and or mood to train ?

One more thing, is there such thing as vitamins to help you stay alert, like better reflexes or no more "lazy eyes?" Lol, I dun even know what I am really talking about myself :P because when I am at school someone would fake slap me in and I would flinch.

I guess some people get lazy but mostly it's down to lack of motivation. This something I think everyone experiences every now and then. You may be coming down with something hence why your so tired or you could simply be burning the candle at both ends

Sometimes there doesn't seem to be any good reason to go to training apart from the other people there but don't let this get you down. You do eventually return to your full gusto and the enjoyment comes back. Perhaps if you studied at home in areas of your art that does particular interest you? As an example, if you study karate, and maybe you enjoy performing kata, practice this at home. Sometimes I get a bit fed up of going up and down the hall doing basics at class - so I break it up with kata at home. Most classes are sorted out to keep the 'whole' class happy and help them progress to the next grading and sadly individual training isn't always there for some students but keep your chin up and it will come back to you if your passion for martial arts is really there.

I get pissed off with training to sometimes. Especially weights and stretching. What i use is a pic of my fav babe, put it on the wall of you room. That gives me all the motivation i need to push for that 6 pac or work a little harder. Give it a tty.

hehe, guess i am the opposite. at home, i often get lazy. there isnt any motivation for me to train alone at home... the enviroment isn't really good and kinda small. also the other reason is i need an instructor to tell me what to do and stuff... basically i cant motivate myself, but i can get others to motivate me.

also, i think u gotta have a goal in training. like, why are you training? what results do you want? what do you want to get out of it? etc, once u find a reason, you'll never get lazy

speaking from experience, dont know if it applies to others.

regardless of all the goals you set, your overall goal should be to exceed your previous fitness level, or level of martial arts. That is the ultimate goal.
I have a ton of pics of bodybuilders and martial artists hanging on my wall. I also keep a few muscular development mags hidden because they always have the hottest women in the most tantalizing poses.
Also, another modivation for me is competeition. There is always some competition going on in my school, whether it be a competition of a personal level, or an actual competition, such as who can last the longest, who can jump the highest, etc.
So find your motivitation, and stick to it. You will probably experince a lack in training motivation sooner or later. When this happens, approach your training a new way, and give yourself a new reason to train.
